Studying an agriculture course will give you the chance to be part of an industry worth around £17 billion each year and will teach you about all aspects of farming in the modern world. 

What will I be doing?

Most work is highly practical on farms, often working with heavy machinery, such as tractors, and getting hands on with livestock. You could be maintaining the health and wellbeing of livestock, overseeing livestock production, harvesting crops, maintaining farm buildings or managing the countryside.

What skills will I need?

Organisation, communication, management skills, practical skills, initiative and a love of the outdoors and animals.
